Obituary of Rosario Castro

Rosario Castro, 85 , of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, September 11, 2006. Born in the Philippines, she was a farmer before moving to Canada. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Riverview. A loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister she will be sadly missed by her daughters Connie Dilag (Val) and Marina Rose (Paul) all of Riverview; seven grandchildren Bonnie, Mark, William, Brian, Randy, and twins Alma and Grace, also by her family living in the Philippines; children Ophelia, Antonio and Elpideio, several grandchildren, one sister and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Felix Castro. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 10:30 am to 12:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Fatima Dr. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Father Daniel Deveau officiating. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the Church Hall immediately following the mass. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Donations in Rosario's memory made to Memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
