Obituary of Frances S. Galliott

Frances S. Galliott, of Royal Court, Riverview and formerly of Brookside Dr Moncton and of Corner Brook, Nfld; passed away at her residence in Riverview on Friday, September 15, 2006. Born March 5, 1917 in Bonne Bay Nfld; she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Charity (Smith) Goosney. Frances was a member of St. James Anglican Church in Moncton and a adherent of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Riverview. She was a former member of the ACW in Corner Brook, Nfld for over thirty years. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Marilyn Galliott (Robert Black) of Moncton; grandchildren Andrew Black and Ian Black; two sisters Mary Robinson (Melvin) of St. John's Nfld. and Madeleine Penny (Max) of Gander, Nfld. a nephew Keith; and three nieces Linda, Donna and Patsy. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George Caleb Galliott in 1974, by a sister Catherine (Amy) and brothers Roland, Matthew and Gilbert. There is no visitation at the Funeral Home The Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Woolridge Dr. Riverview, NB on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 1:30 pm with The Rev. Wendy Amos-Binks officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview. Donations in Frances memory made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
