Obituary of Violet Carol "Penny" Taylor

Violet C. "Penny" Taylor, 67, of Riverview, passed away at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Born in Hillsborough, NB on December 21, 1938 she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Irving) Taylor. She was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Hillsborough Branch. She is survived by four daughters Angie Doucet (Clayton Smith) of Campbellton, NB, Julie Walker (Jack) of Ripley, ON, Maxine Nuttall of Riverview, and Misty Gibson (Trevor Traynor) of Oshawa; son Terry Gibson (Angie) of Red Deer, AB; sisters Maxine Melanson (Joseph H.) of Rexton; step sister Carol Little McClay (Terry) of Eagle Lake, ON; two step brothers Paul MacLean (Mary) of New Glasgow, NS, and Alexander "Sandy" MacLean of New Glasgow, NS, five grand daughters, five grandsons, three great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Robert "Tex" Taylor. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. with visitation on Friday, September 22, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10:00 am with Rev. Steve Berube officiating.
