Obituary of Janice Goldie Kristiansen

1932 - 2006 Janice G. Kristiansen, of Miramichi, NB passed away after a brief illness at The Moncton Hospital on Friday October 27, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Born in Edinburgh, Scottland on June 30, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Dr. William G. and Doris (Brocklesby) Dobson. She was an RN and Midwife at The Miramichi Regional 7 Hospital, retireing from her duties in 1996. She was adherent to The Anglican Church in New Castle. Janice was a former member of The Senior Line Dancing Club in the Miramichi. She is survived by her loving husband Ole E. Kristiansen; daughters Ellen D. Kristiansen of Castlegar BC, and Rose Mary S. "Rosie" Buchanan of Calgary AB; sons John O.W. (Wilma) Kristainsen of Fort McMurray AB, and Simon B. (Kay) Kristiansen of Edmonton AB; brother Dr. Alan (Hazel) Dobson of England; sister in law Allison Dobson of England; eight grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Dr. Bruce Dobson and her son in law Rob Buchanan. At her request there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
