Obituary of Alice May Hayter
Alice May Hayter of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the age of 97 years. Born in Moncton, NB on July 3, 1913 she was the daughter of the late John and Alice M. (Nash) Hayter. Early in life Alice was involved in the Canadian War Time Services based out of Sussex, later became a dental assistant to Moncton dentist Dr. Donald, and she retired after 26 years service with Supply Depot #5 in Moncton. Alice was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she leaves behind several her nephews Bradley John, Donald M. "Gregg" and her niece Barbara. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Frank, Donald "Ted", John C. "Jack", Helen, Lauretta, Myrtle, Lillian, Bertha, and Mabel. There will be a graveside service held at Elmwood Cemetery on Thursday August 5, 2010 at 11:00am with Rev. Winston Parks officiating. Donations made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to The Victoria Senior's Home (164 Park St. Moncton, E1C-2B6) would be appreciated by her family.
