Obituary of Julia Hachey McTavish

Julia Hachey McTavish, age 91 years formerly of Barryville, NB passed away at Lakeview Manor Salvation Army Nursing Home in Riverview, where she had been a resident for the past three years. Born in Barryville, NB on March 15, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Henri and Mary Ann (Vautour) Brideau. Julia enjoyed quilting and sewing, above all she loved her family. Left with fond memories are her daughter Dorothy Gaurtreau of Moncton; sons Merle and Eunice Hachey of Barryville, NB; daughter in law Juliette Hachey; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband James Hachey in 1970; second husband Forrester McTavish; son Leonard Hachey in 2004; three sisters Selina McKinley, Christina Girouard, and Janie Ross; also by her brother David Brideau. Resting at Davidsons Funeral Services, 597 Old King George Hwy, New Castle on Monday March 26, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm AND Tuesday March 27, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. Parish prayers will be held at Davidsons Funeral Services on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. A mass of christian burial will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Barryville, NB on Wednesday March 28, 2007 at 11:00 am with Fr. Leo Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Holy Family Roman Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
