Obituary of MacDougall "Doug" G. Firlotte

MacDougall "Doug" Firlotte, 75, of Upper Coverdale, NB; passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Born in Campbellton, NB; he was the son of the late Hiram and Olive C. (MacDougall) Firlotte. He was a retired driver with SMT. Doug enjoyed working around the house and was an avid gardener. He is survived by two daughters Gail Firlotte (Phil Mintern) of Halifax, NS; and Kathy Mann of Campbellton, NB; three sons Danny Firlotte (Lana) of Campbellton, Scott Firlotte of Restigouche, PQ and Dale Firlotte (Melissa Schellen) of Sackville, NB; four grandchildren Christopher and Michael Mann, Troy and Meghan Firlotte; great grand daughter Tristen Firlotte; his father-in-law James Brown of Petitcodiac, NB and his niece Shelley Kennedy of Ottawa. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jean C. (Brown) Firlotte in 1992 and a sister Dorothy "Jean" Kennedy. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB with visitation on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 10:00 am with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury at a later date. Donations in Doug's memory made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
