Obituary of Owen Richard McClements

The death of Mr. Owen Richard McClements, age 68 years of Toronto, Ontario and husband of the late Laura McClements occurred on February 2nd, 2007 at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Born in Bath, New Brunswick he was the son of Byron and Fern McClements. Owen started his career with the Canadian Armed Forces at the young age of sixteen. He married his wife Laura on May 16th, 1960, while still a member of the army. After finishing there he started a very long and successful career with Lab Volt Limited, and his career gave him the opportunity to travel and see the world. He lived in Asia for fifteen years and he felt very close to the people there. He will be forever missed and always loved by his sons Ricky and Greg; daughters Cindy and Heather (Gerald); grandchildren Matt, Clay and Jacob; sisters Charlotte (Wiley), and Barbara (Maurice), and Brenda (Pat); niece Michelle (Greg); and nephew Kyle (Leanne). He was a very loving father and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and was very proud of them. A memorial will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street Moncton, New Brunswick on April 28th, 2006 at 1:00pm with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Internment to follow at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
