Obituary of Sean Christopher Collins

The Family of Sean Christopher Collins are deeply saddened by Sean's passing on July 9th 2007 after a long courageous battle with Cancer. Sean is survived by his parents Christopher Michael Collins and Lisette Marie Richard, Grandparents George and Melba Collins and Roger and Claudette Richard. Sean had also had the great pleasure of Numerous Uncles and Aunts and many Cousins. Although Sean had no siblings, he had friends that treated him like a brother; Daniel, Ross, Dean, Martin, Alex, Ryan, Niall, Aodhan, Molly, Keegan, Tara, and Tim knew him for his great sense of humour. Sean was an inspiration to many with his determination and attitude towards the many good and bad things life threw at him. Sean played minor hockey, soccer, and swam until stricken with Cancer in 2003. He was an ardent supporter of The Moncton Wild Cats and The Vancouver Canucks declared him their number 1 fan and his team picture will be entered into the Hockey Hall of fame. During Cancer treatments Sean explored his love of music by becoming an accomplished Rock Drummer and Didgeredoo player. He often played the Didj and Drums for company at his home on Liberty Crescent. Sean was determined to continue skiing during treatments, he was seen skiing from Poley Mountain to Hills in Quebec and Maine. He became quite an advanced skier known to his skiing friends as the blur with a grin. Sean had a deep sense of social responsibility and was known to be mature for his age, perhaps from the travelling he had the opportunity to do. Sean travelled extensively in Canada, The United States, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. "Life is like a firework, you are only lit once so you must stand and illuminate correctly, Sean's firework was brief but it was glorious.
