Obituary of Lester Hastings MacGregor Higgins

Lester Hastings MacGregor Higgins, of Riverglade passed away at The Jordan Lifecare Center on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Born in Moncton, NB on August 8, 1925 he was the son of the late Lester Hastings James and Florence Isabel (Pyne) Higgins. Lester was a retired manager of Real Estate in the Moncton area. He was a member of St. Martins in the Wood Anglican Church. He is survived by his son Alan Cameron Higgins and his wife Bluette of Elgin, NB; sister in law Alice Peters of Riverview; cousins Jacqueline Wilson and Marlene Smith both of Moncton; various nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Jean Cameron (Peters) Higgins in 1989; son Lester Hastings Edward Higgins in 2003. There will be no viewing, visitation, or funeral service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to The Jordan Life Care Center would be appreciated by his family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
