Obituary of Marie Claudia "Anita" Phillips

Anita Phillips, 60, of Irishtown, passed away surrounded by her family at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2008. Born in Toronto, she is the daughter of Yvette (Doucette) Brush and the late Samuel Edgar Brush. Anita was a movie buff and enjoyed singing, dancing and was a collector of music. A loving and caring wife, mother, daughter and sister, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years Eric Phillips; her son Dave and his wife Michelle Phillips of Riverview; her mother Yvette Brush of Whitby, On; brother Edward Brush and his wife Carolynn of Oshawa, On; sister Deanna Young and her husband Robert of Peterborough, On; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. on Monday, February 4, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00pm The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Marlene Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Harvey Settlement Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Anita's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
