Obituary of Langton Cutler Dysart

Langton Cutler Dysart, age 84 years of Irishtown, passed away peacefully of congestive heart failure at The Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Born in Bathurst, NB on March 12th, 1925, he was the son of the late Langton and Pauline (Blanchard) Dysart. He was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church and was an 80 years resident of Irishtown. Langton spent most of his working life as a farmer, businessman and school bus driver. He was an avid card player and a horse racing enthusiast and owner. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Alice; children Andrew (Elisabeth) Dysart of California, USA, Edward (Joyce) Dysart of Irishtown, NB, Ann Marie Case (Robert) and Francine Cowperthwaite (Marty) both of Fredericton, NB; sister Mary Blanch Dionne (Robert) of Sutton, PQ; brothers Joe (Eileen) Dysart of Burlington, ON, Hugh Dysart of Titusville, NB, and Patrick Dysart of Sackville, NB; sister in law Shirley Dysart of Saint John, NB; and especially by his eleven grandchildren Michael, Laura, Tessica, Cody, Tyler, Alicia, Jason, Andrew, James, Matthew, Caroline. Predeceased by his brother Dr. Eric Dysart; sisters Joyce Robins and Patricia Dysart; and brother in law Harold Robins. To respect Langton's wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 at 2:oo pm from the St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Irishtown, with Father Yvon Arsenault officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery. Donations in memory of Langton made to the Trappist's of Rogersville (11505 Route 126, Rogersville Ouest, NB E4Y 2N3) would be appreciated by his family.
