Obituary of Albert Thibodeau

Joseph "Albert" Thibodeau, 85 years , of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Born in Moncton on July 14, 1926 he was the son of the late David and Barbara (Saunier) Thibodeau. Albert retired from Marney's Shell Station after 45 years service with Shell and White Rose Gasoline. Albert will be remembered by many for his willingness to help others, work very hard and above all provide for his family. He will be missed by his wife Alexina (Vautour); sons Gary and Karen Thibodeau of Riverview, and John Thibodeau of Moncton; sister Etta Elliott of Moncton; brother Leo Thibodeau and Annette of Moncton; four grandchildren Cory and his wife Sarah, Darby, Danica and Josee; two great grandchildren Mila and Mia; also by several nieces, nephews and neighbourhood friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Howie, Eddie, and Fred. There will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service held. Donations in Albert's memory made to the The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Palliative care unit would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Taylor, and Dr. Gallant also the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital for the wonderful care given to our loved one and the compassion shown to our family will never be forgotten.
