Obituary of Lyla Teed

Lyla Teed passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Tilmen and Amanda (Robichaud) Arsenault.

Lyla loved camping trips with the family, going to the beach and family get togethers, especially during the Christmas season. She always made Christmas special and her children have carried on those traditions. Lyla loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent much time doting on them.

Lyla will be lovingly remembered by her son, Bryan (the late Greg Wilson) of Moncton; her daughters, Heather (Trina Bertin), Kim (Mark Mahoney), and Penny (Danny Boucher), all of Moncton; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; her sister, Myra Gallant of Moncton; and her brother, Aldore Arsenault of Moncton.

In addition to her parents, Lyla was predeceased by her husband, Floyd; sons, Kirk and Derrick; her brothers, Leve Arsenault and Dosithie “Gerry” Arsenault; her sisters, Cecile Caissie (the late Anthony) and Alice Collins (the late Roy).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 5 Fatima Drive, Riverview, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

A burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
