Obituary of Robert Darrin Walsh
Darrin Walsh of Moncton passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Dr. G. L. Dumont University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Charlottetown, PEI, to Aldon and Trudy Horton, Darrin was a dedicated family man, a passionate car enthusiast, and a true friend to many. He spent much of his career as the manager of Harvey’s Restaurants in Moncton and Charlottetown, working with dedication and pride until his recent illness.
Darrin’s greatest joy was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Pam Walsh; daughters Tiffanie Walsh (Eric Maxwell) and Jessica Walsh (Daniel Bond); sons David Walsh and Greg Walsh; and granddaughter Scarlett Walsh. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his second grandchild in September. He also leaves behind his sister Darlene McKenzie (William) and brothers Jason Horton (Joanne) and D’Arcy Horton; Uncle, Bart Walsh; aunt, Marjorie Dart; several nieces and nephews.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Darrin was a proud founding member of the Atlantic Nationals and loved attending car shows, where his 2014 Charger was always a highlight. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs —Scrapy, Lucky, Scooby, and Max. He loved to travel with his family, share a laugh with friends, and brighten every room with his social and warm nature.
In keeping with his wishes, no public services will be held, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre & Fergusons Crematorium, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, (506) 857-9544.
