Obituary of Ray Coneen

Albert Ray Coneen of Moncton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late George and Almeda (Hopper) Coneen.

Ray worked for Canada Post for 30 years, then went into Real Estate for an additional 14 years. While enjoying retirement he delivered newspapers in Lakeside Estates and along the Shediac road for several years.

He is survived by his son, Tom (Patty) of Lakeville, NB; his grandchildren, Tanya Steeves, Lisa Steeves, and Amanda Coneen; and his sister, Lily (late Arnold) Laakso of Lakeville.

In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his wife, Pauline, in 1979; his daughter, Holly Diane Steeves in 2025 (Jim) ; and his son, Danny Wade Coneen in 2023.

Ray was a member of the Lewisville Baptist Church and in keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services, simply a grave side service at the Lakeville cemetery in the spring for family only.
