Obituary of Lesley Anne Dernier

Lesley Anne Dernier of Riverview passed away peacefully with her sisters by her side on Sunday February 1st, 2026 after a long and courageous journey with cancer.

Born on February 13, 1968, Lesley had a deep love for her family and friends. Above all else she loved her niece, nephews, great nephew and cousins fiercely and wholeheartedly. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she took great pride in watching them grow, supporting them, and loving them unconditionally.

She was known for her wit and feisty attitude and the way she loved her family so dearly. Even through life’s hardships Lesley carried herself with a quiet resilience.

Lesley is lovingly remembered by her parents Bob and Judy Dernier, sisters Mae Rhyno (Dave) and Mary Lawrence, her cherished niece and nephews, cousins and great cousins, her close group of friends who coined themselves the GG's and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, especially for her family, will continue to live on through them.

In keeping with Lesley’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no public services held.

Donations in memory of Lesley made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
