Obituary of Curt H. Comeau

Curt Harold Comeau, 53, of Riverview, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, January 24, 2026, with his beloved wife by his side.

Born in Moncton, Curt was the son of William and Joanne Comeau. He leaves behind his wife of ten years, Stephanie (Wright) Comeau; his parents, Bill and Joanne; his sister, Christie Cantini (Joe); his brother, Craig Comeau; his niece, Mia Cantini; and his nephews, Dante Cantini and Dario Cantini. Curt will also be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Erma Boucher (Raymond); brothers-in-law, Romar “Donovan” Bishop and Marville Wright (Nadine); sisters-in-law, Camille Wright and Diana (Wright) Richardson; and nieces, Mia Wright, Malia Amos, Kayla Abrams; nephews, Darnell Wright, and Malikai Amos, Kaysi Green. He will also be deeply missed by his very close childhood friends who became like family to him.

Curt truly enjoyed life and embraced it fully. He was an avid salmon fisherman and acted as the Vice President of the Hudson Brook Fishing Club. He was especially proud of being his father's favorite fishing buddy. He was a members of the Moncton Golf and Country Club. He and Stephanie enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends, including trivia nights at the Holy Whale. In the winter months he bowled in the Thursday evening league at the Dieppe Bowlarama, all passions that he shared with Stephanie. A talented and enthusiastic cook, Curt found great joy in preparing meals for family and friends. His prime rib and turkey dinners became treasured traditions at Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was also a devoted and loving pet parent to Max, Tabitha, and Felicia.

A man of strong principles and integrity, Curt believed in doing things the right way. He was dependable, generous, and always there for his family and friends.

Professionally Curt worked in the financial field, In September of 2013 he obtained his Charter Professional Accountant (CPA,CMA).  Most recently, he worked as Group Controller with The MacArthur’s Group of Companies he was respected for his professionalism, dedication, and expertise.

Arrangements are in the care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Community Chapel on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow.
