Obituary of Ralph Marks

Ralph Howard Marks of Dieppe and formerly of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the age of 97 years. Born in Amherst, NS, he was the son of the late Howard and Bertha (Moore) Marks.

Ralph moved to Riverview in 1966 and attended Bethel Presbyterian Church in Riverview, he was employed with Maritime Beverages and was in charge of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. He took an early retirement in 1989 and after a year he went back to work for Metro School Bus as a driver trainer and doing bus tours for Tours to Remember covering the Maritimes, Quebec and the US. Ralph enjoyed wood working, music and dancing.

Ralph will be missed by his special friend and partner, Annette Leger and her family; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Alice McNeil in 1994; his daughter, Carol Ann Marks; sister Marjarie (Ben).

Annette would like to extend a special Thank-You to the staff of the palliative care unit at The Moncton Hospital and to Dr. Thomas McNally for their care and compassion during Ralph’s stay.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care and direction of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB, E1B 1V6, (506-857-9544) where visitation will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service from Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Charles Cook.
