Obituary of Olive Klevorick
Olive Klevorick passed away peacefully at the Pavillon Richard on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 88 years.
Born in Newfoundland, Olive was the beloved daughter of the late David and Olive Squires. She dedicated her career to nursing, a profession that reflected her caring nature and commitment to helping others.
Olive lived life with curiosity, humor, and a zest for the things she loved most. She enjoyed fine wine and whiskey, attending dog shows—especially those featuring her favorite breeds, Basset Hounds and Newfoundland dogs and browsing yard sales, flea markets, and antique shops in search of hidden treasures. She was a keen traveler and took pleasure in playing bridge and bowling with friends.
A lover of good food and good company, Olive enjoyed seafood dinners and was often found cheering on her favorite golfers, tennis players, and curlers on television. She was also an avid admirer and supporter of the Royal Family.
Olive will be fondly remembered by her sons, Marshall and his wife Jackie and Philip and his wife Starr; grand daughter, Madison; grandsons, Noah, Tate, and Seth; cousins, Jeanette, Dorothy, Harold, Violet and Bill; closest friends, David and Steve.
Besides Olive’s parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Peter Squires and her sister, Pearl Murphy. At Olive’s request, there will be no public services held. Burial will be held at the Forest Road Anglican Cemetery in St. John’s Newfoundland where Olive will rest in the family plot. Date to be determined.
The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to all the entire staff at the Pavillion Richard for the wonderful care given to Olive.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre & Fergusons Crematorium, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, NB., E1B 1V6, (506-857-9544).
