Obituary of Patricia Mary McCarron

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Mary McCarron of Moncton, NB on Sunday, September 7th, 2025.

After a long fulfilling life, she was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She knew it was more blessed to give than to receive. In her younger days, she enjoyed singing in the church family choir, baking and cooking, spending time with family and friends. A beautiful soul who would help anyone. Although Patricia is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. Patricia was known for her strong will, love and support for her family. While our hearts mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

Patricia dedicated her life to enriching the lives of others through her work as a housekeeper, having worked with Molly Maid service, the Peter Pan Motel, to later as full-time housekeeper for Father Gratton, a well-respected priest until his passing. Patricia was an active member and volunteer at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church; she was the lead director of the Folk Choir and was blessed with the voice of an Angel.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Karen Cecchetto of Toronto; brothers, Francis McCarron and his wife Deborah of Moncton, and David McCarron with whom she resided, Arthur McCarron and his wife Martine of Dieppe; also, by several nieces and nephews who meant the world to Patricia.

Besides her parents, Gerard J. and Annie “Marie” (Campbell) McCarron, she was recently predeceased by her sister Marita McCarron.

A visitation will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Sunday evening between the hours of 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30 pm.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 52 Falkland St. Moncton, on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow in the church hall.

The interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
