Obituary of William James Sinstadt

Bill Sinstadt of Moncton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 70 years.

Born in Perth Andover, NB, Bill was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth “Betty” (Anderson) Sinstadt. He worked as an Equipment Operator at Roadway Systems since 1999, previously employed by CNR, Canadian National Railways. Bill had a passion for the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, snow shoeing, bird watching, and travelling, with time spent with family being his greatest enjoyment.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Annie Sinstadt of Moncton; son, Nicholas Sinstadt and his wife Lyanne of Moncton; granddaughter, Charlotte; grandson, Sam; sisters, Kathy (Rick) and Pat (late Brian); brother, David (Heather); former wife, Yolande Cyr; special friend Zhihui “Geng”, her son, Jason, and her grandson, Aiden.

A celebration of life will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

In memory of Bill, donations made to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
