Marita McCarron

Obituary of Marita Leona McCarron

After a long time in this world, and a short time of confusion, Marita Leona McCarron has gone home to the Lord for the peace and rest she so much deserves.

Born in Saint John, NB Marita was the daughter of the late Gerard J. and Annie “Marie” (Campbell) McCarron. Throughout her career, Marita demonstrated a passion for retail, accumulating 20 years of service at the Salvation Army Thrift Stores, 20 years at Sears Catalogue Co., and a final stint at the Christmas Discounters Store prior to her retirement.

Marita was a genuine Cape Bretoner at heart, evident in her love for music festivals.

Marita was survived by her sisters, Pat McCarron of Moncton, and Karen Cecchetto of Toronto; brothers Francis McCarron and his wife Deborah of Moncton, David McCarron with whom she resided, and Arthur McCarron and his wife Martine of Dieppe; also, by several nieces and nephews.
