Obituary of Merle John Melvin

Merle John Melvin of Riverview, NB passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the age of 60 years. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John and Violet (Bovard) Melvin.

Survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Michelle (Saunders); daughters, Laurelle Butcher (Jared), Jessica Melvin (Zane); grandchildren, London, Zodie and Cole all of Riverview, NB; sisters, Karen (Andy) Susan (Paul), Bev (Frank), Holly (Greg), Cindy (Grant), also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Merle cremation has taken place at Fergusons Crematorium and there will be no public services held.

Donations in memory of Merle can be made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation & would be appreciated by the family.
