Obituary of Cheena Myrna Snook

Cheena Myrna Snook of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 51. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Theophile and Freda (Collette) Cormier.

Cheena was the heart and rock of our family—always there for us with love, support, and a warm smile. She loved being out in nature, taking peaceful walks, even just to be outdoors it didn’t matter what she did, but her favorite place was always home, surrounded by the people she loved most. Whether she was cooking a homemade meal or baking something sweet or crocheting, she did everything with care and love. Cheena had a generous heart and would do anything for anyone who needed help. Her kindness, love, and calming presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Survived by her husband and best friend of 30 years, Harold; daughter, Shalisha Snook (Josh Lawson); sons, Jaithan and Jothan Snook all of Riverview; sister, Cristal Cormier (Dale Killam) of Turtle Creek; brother, Danny Cormier (Natasha) of Turtle Creek, she is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the professional care and direction of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, NB, E1B 1V6, (506-857- 9544) where visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:00am from Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel.

Interment will take place at Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB.
