Jeanne Dupuis

Obituary of Jeanne Dupuis

Jeanne Dupuis of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Sunday April 13, 2025 at the age of 76 years. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Edward and Anita (Gautreau) LeBlanc.

Jeanne was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her, with an infectious laugh and a heart full of love. She cared deeply for her family and friends, always putting others before herself. She retired from Co-Op Atlantic, but her journey included many roles that reflected her vibrant personality — from her younger days as a bartender at the Urban Corral to her work as a hairdresser. Jeanne especially loved lending her talents to help friends and family with their nails and hair, always making others feel their best.

Jeanne was immensely proud of her grandchildren and cherished the special moments spent with them during the summer months. She found joy in simple pleasures — gathering with friends around a campfire, camping by the shore, or sometimes escaping to sunny destinations. A creative soul, Jeanne was also a talented painter, expressing herself beautifully through her art. In her final years, Jeanne bravely battled ALS with extraordinary courage and grace. She held onto hope for a cure and inspired those around her with her strength and resilience.

She will be deeply missed, remembered always for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering spirit.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Kyla of Halifax; step daughter Amber of Moncton; sons, Dan (Tara) of Riverview and Chris of Halifax; sisters, Doris, Emma, Therese; brothers, Edward and Donald grandchildren, Summer, Caitlyn, Brianna, Calvin, William, Scout, Ferryn, Cassidy, Eleigha, Makayla, Morgan and Tegan; great- grandchild, Dakota, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
