Frank E. Brown of Canterbury Hall, Riverview passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the age of 93 years.

Born in Halifax, NS on April 29, 1931 he was the son of the late Edward S. and Kathleen G. (Hanrahan) Brown.

Frank was a retired train dispatcher with the CNR. He was a member of the CN Pensioners Association. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club, a former non playing Captain of the NB Senior Men’s Teams, and a member of the NB Golf Association. Frank was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan and connoisseur of great music.

Frank attended Bethel Presbyterian Church. Frank and his wife Vivian enjoyed delivering meals to seniors for a number of years.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Peggy Brown of Coquitlam, BC; son, Stephen Brown (Kim) of Sackville, NB; also, by several nieces and nephews.

Frank was predeceased by his wife Vivan L. (Macleod) Brown in 2022; sisters, Mona K. Ernst and Doris M. Beauchin; brothers, Roy D. Brown, and Kenneth G. Brown.

A funeral service will be held at Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (506-857-9544) Riverview, on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 am with a reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.

The burial will he held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
