Obituary of Ronald James Little
Ronald James Little of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, February 23, 2025, when he lost his battle with Cancer.
Born in Bass River, NB he was the son of the late Murray and Beatrice (Campbell) Little. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Patty; sons, Christopher and Ryan; step-children, Christopher Dollemont and Lindsay Dollemont; grandchildren, Gaven and Kilian; step-grandchildren, Logan Dollemont, Jaxon Dollemont and Kye Taylor; sister, Valerie Melling and many loving cousins and extended family members.
Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by his brother, Gerry and his son, Adam.
Ron loved sports. In his younger years, Ron played football in the Moncton Minor Football league. He played football for Moncton High School and went on to coach for the Moncton Minor Football Association. Ron also had a love for hockey, he played goalie in the Shediac League, Commercial Hockey League and the Men’s Senior League. Ron even tried his hand at Rugby for a couple of years. His love for baseball was right up there with his love for football. Ron played Fastball, Orthodox, and eventually a mixed slow pitch league with Patty, until he was 61 years old. It didn’t matter what sport he played; he always made it look easy.
Cremation has taken place at Fergusons Crematorium, Riverview. There will be a celebration of life held at the Sunny Brae Legion Branch #54, 164 Broadway St. Moncton, NB on Saturday, March 8, 2025, please drop in between the hours of 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and dress casual.
