Obituary of Joyce Norris

Joyce Norris of Moncton passed away peacefully with family by her side at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

Born in Salem, NB Joyce was the daughter of the late Abram Perry and Margaret Eva (Ryder) Alward.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Tina Gaines (James) of Moncton; son, Fernly Norris of Chester, NS; grand daughters, Tia Fraser of Dieppe, Megan Norris of Halifax, and Melanie Norris of Ontario; grandson, Chris Norris of Moncton; great grandchildren, Amelia Fraser and Alexander Petley; sister, Vesta Goddard of Petitcodiac; brother, Lee Alward of Petitcodiac.

Besides her parents Joyce was predeceased by her husband, William Steve Norris; son, Perry Norris; sister, Della Cruikshank; brothers, Delbert Alward, and Royce Alward.

A celebration of life will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (506-857-9544), Riverview on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 between the hours of 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm.
