Obituary of Theodore "Ted" Goguen
Theodore Goguen, age 83 years of Shediac, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 8, 2009.
Born in Moncton, NB on October 27th, 1925; he was the son of the late Joseph and Lea (Landry) Goguen.
Warrant officer Ted Goguen (service number SG6932) was a retired WWII and Korean War veteran, who served his country honorably for over 31 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals who served in Korea, Cambodia, Cyprus, Germany and various locations across Canada from coast to coast.
He will be forever missed by his daughters Nancy Hollis (Steven) of Dartmouth, NS and Lisa Fenton (Craig) of Moncton, NB; sons Robert "Bob" Goguen (Lucille) of Dieppe, NB, David Goguen (Sandra) of Frankville, ON, and Daniel "Dan" Goguen (Joan) of Moncton, NB; sister Theresa (Roy) LeBlanc or Lewisville, NB; and grandchildren Steven, Amanda, Matthew, and Meaghan.
Predeceased by his wife Doreen Goguen in 2002; infant daughter; sister Maria Hebert in 1992, and brother Tony Goguen in 1973.
Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home (171 Lutz St, Moncton) with visitation on Friday, October 9th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at L'Assomption Cathedral (226 St. George St, Moncton) on Saturday, October 10th, 2009 at 11:00 am with Fr. Yvon Cormier officiating.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Ted made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be greatly appreciated by his family.
