To Anna's Family We extend to you our deepest sympathies and support as you journey through this time of loss as you grieve the death of Anna. May the memories of the life she lived and the love she shared be a source of encouragement and hope for your journey. I remember meeting Anna many years ago when I officiated at the funeral services for both her Mum and Dad (Alf and Rhoda) and think of them often as I drive by their home in LaHave. Anna's Membership remained with West Side United Church (Pentz NS) even though she left this area many years ago. On behalf of the Congregation, her friends and former neighbours in our community, we send our condolences and sympathies. May the light of God's Love and Presence surround you and hold you. John I am so sorry. Anna and I go back a long way as you know and she was always a cherished friend. Thankfully Facebook kept us connected, allowing me to catch glimpses of her life. I cannot believe she is gone, as I’m sure you and your family can’t either. We’re all richer for having known her and lucky to have shared at least some of the road with her. So very sorry to hear about Anna's passing. I worked with her for many years in CCU/Moncton Hospital. She was an excellent nurse: so calm and caring. In later years when she was working in Medical Imaging, it was always great to see her and catch up. Praying for all her family during these difficult days. Wendy Somers

My heartfelt condolences to family and friends , Anna was a remarkable lady ! She was my nursing colleague at the QE 2 Angio unit , Halifax , and so began our friendship . We remained connected through Facebook. Annals posts were full of gratitude for people and life itself .She loved being a nurse , a very caring nature and what a team player she was . I'm so sorry to hear of Anna's passing. Anna was always calm and practical during our sometimes chaotic shifts in CCU and was generous in sharing her knowledge and experience. I appreciated her wisdom and wit. Condolences to her family.

The news of Anna passing is so heavy on my heart . We were getting ready last year for our 50th anniversary of our Graduation from the Halifax Infirmary Scholl Of Nursing class of 1972. Then Fiona hit. News of her diagnosis was shared with our group and the road we followed so close with her treatments and trials so many prayers Anna was a gift to us all and a wonderful Nurse my sincere sympathy to you all We Will honor her memory on Sept 10-12 at our Nurses Reunion phyllis (Hickey)MacEachern

We are so saddened to hear of Anna's passing. As one of the Himmelman girls growing up in La Have I spent lots of time with Anna, Claire and her family. So many wonderful memories. She was a great "big sister" to those of us just a few years younger and such a positive influence in our lives. She looked out for Claire and I in Halifax when we shared an apartment while I was in the VG X-Ray school. A wonderful, kind person who became a great nurse. We know you will miss her.
